Publish your first post with confidence

What to write, how long it should be, and how to share it so the right people see it.

Make it a “why this exists” post

Your first post should introduce you, your promise and what's coming next. It becomes the post you'll point every new reader to.

Structure it simply

A strong opening line, a short personal story, what readers can expect, and one clear invitation to subscribe.

  1. 1Hook: one sentence about the problem you solve.
  2. 2Story: why you care, in 3–5 sentences.
  3. 3Promise: what they'll get and how often.
  4. 4Ask: subscribe and share with one friend.

Share it in three places

Send it to your personal contacts, post a Note about it, and share it on the one social channel where your readers already spend time.
